FUTURE LEADERS UNITED

United Foundation of Central Florida's Future Leader's United (FLU) After-School Enrichment and Mentoring Program has been in Maynard Evans High School since 2015. Our New Name of UFCF FLU has been in existence since 2016. We are an After-School Program that uses a Holistic Approach to Empower Students One Family at a time. We are focused on the following 7 Pillars:

 

Leadership Development        Financial Literacy            College Preparedness              Career Exploration

STEAM Education                   Health and Wellness       Life/Family Preparedness

 

To date over 350 students have been mentored, in and outside of the program.  97 students have graduated from our program.  92 are currently enrolled in College, 3 enrolled in the Armed Forces and 2 in the workforce.

This year $21,000.00 in Educational Scholarships will be awarded to the 14 students that are graduating this year.
